I believe that was the forecast a few days ago. Which resulted in these snapshots from the environs around my home, beginning with one from the waterfall along my regular bicycling route. (No, I wasn’t on the bike.) Then moving up onto the Appalachian Trail after an ice storm last week.
The final photo in this sequence was taken by the interchange of I-70 and Route 40 near Hagerstown, MD around 11 pm. A nighttime shot lit by the tall security light over the highway interchange. I believe it was a sodium vapor light – a little color correction was necessary to get the orange out.
You are very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place, but you also have an eye for things which would be beautiful anywhere. Thanks for the pictures.
